Studio Membership provides access to a shared creative environment designed for independent practice in both fine arts and ceramics.
Members have access to both studio spaces and work at their own pace using shared tools, equipment, and resources. Classes and workshops are available separately for those seeking guided instruction or specialized techniques.
What Membership Includes
Studio Access
- Open studio access during operating hours

Fine Arts Studio
- Painting, drawing, and mixed media workspaces
- Shared brushes, palettes, and essential tools
- Community paint table for casual use and exploration
Ceramics Studio
- Hand-building workspace and tools

- Shared equipment and work surfaces
Studio Environment

Materials & Studio Use
To keep membership accessible and flexible, consumable materials are purchased separately.
Fine Art Materials
- Canvases, paper, and specialty surfaces available for purchase
- Members may also bring their own materials
Clay (Required for Ceramics Use)
All clay must be purchased through the studio to ensure compatibility with kiln systems and firing standards.
- 25 lb bag: approximately $40–$65
Clay purchase includes:
- Use of studio glazes
- Standard bisque and glaze firing (within size guidelines)
Firing Guidelines
Firing is structured to ensure safety, fairness, and consistent access for all members.
Standard Firing (Included)
Included with clay purchase for work within standard limits:
- Maximum dimension: 10 inches in any direction
- Suitable for shared kiln loading
- Fits within standard shelving
Most functional and small sculptural work falls within this range.
Oversize or High-Volume Work (Additional Fees)
Additional fees apply for work that exceeds standard limits or requires disproportionate kiln space.
Examples include:
- Pieces larger than 10–12 inches
- Thick or dense work requiring extended firing
- High-volume submissions
Typical fees:
- Medium oversize: $10–$25
- Large or extended space use: $25–$75
- Full shelf or specialty firing: priced individually
All firing is subject to studio approval.
